Olamilekan Busayo Ogundipe is an early-career scientist in the Department of Botany, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His research interests focus on plant genetics, molecular biology, reproductive biology, and evolutionary processes, with an emphasis on elucidating the genetic mechanisms underlying species adaptation and extinction in response to environmental changes caused by climate change. In the long term, his research aims to leverage molecular and genetic tools to enhance plant adaptation to environmental stresses and improve crop productivity.
